Hello!
I'm Nina.
I'm a staff product designer at Gladly, shaping best-in-class customer experiences.
Previously, I led design for Webdam's brand and project management experiences, spearheaded Tata Communications' digital marketing campaigns, and spent years as a design consultant for startups and small businesses.
I move fluidly between strategy and craft—thinking big, executing fast, and staying pragmatic about impact. I thrive in a workplace that puts people first: designing intentional user experiences, strengthening culture within my team, and leading with kindness and integrity.

Senior Product Designer
2021 – 2023
As one of two product designers at Gladly, I lead end-to-end design across consumer and admin experiences—helping brands move from ticket-based systems to more personalized customer conversations. I collaborate with C-suite, product, and engineering leadership to define our AI vision and strategy. I spearhead the 0-to-1 design for Sidekick's CX manager experience, empowering them to confidently configure, test, refine, and launch their AI Agents. The launch of Sidekick contributed to Gladly winning the 2025 CCW Excellence Award for Disruptive Technology of the Year.

More about me
I grew up on a tiny island in the Philippines, where respect for nature, kindness, and genuine care for people are core values. I left home at a young age to pursue a scholarship in theater arts at the Philippine High School for the Arts. There, I learned that great performances require deep empathy for your character, relentless refinement of your craft, and trust in your ensemble.
This foundation in craft deepened when I joined the University of the Philippines Concert Chorus as a member and soloist, performing across three world tours. UPCC taught me that excellence requires grit and humility—your part only makes sense in relation to others.
In the US, I found my way to design and tech — and approached it the same way I'd approached everything else: with curiosity, rigor, and a deep need to understand people. That pull toward understanding led me to pursue a master's degree in psychology, specializing in human factors. I bring that grounding to every project: understanding users deeply, and the empathy to build products that earn their trust.
